Cemetery Monument

I visited the cemetery today.  I wanted to draw some of the statues there.   I brought my sketch book, and sat in the car and sketched a bit, but I wasn't close enough  to what I wanted to draw. It's still very cold out with some snow on the ground, so instead of standing and drawing outside,  I got out and took pictures instead.  Then, at home I drew from the picture on the computer screen.  Drawing this was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. I'm glad I'm taking the time to practice, it reveals to me the things I need to work on.
